While the water tower itself is based on a 'real-life' water tower the pipe is from my imagination as i could not locate a photo of the water tower when it was in use. The water tower front wall should be about 4.3 metres from the centre of the track, the reason for the longish lenght is quite a few of the water towers i've seen on the Irish network are set on the back of platforms. markjudith 10 Apr 2012 19:17:18 [Report] Thanks for yet another great little model :) andymar54 10 Apr 2012 18:13:10 [Report] Installed this on RW today and it looks really great. The animation works fine though I needed to move it back a bit from the track, as the arm is longer than I had initially realised. I am still using Rail Simulator, and your signal boxes and goods shed are great in RS. The water tower doesn't appear however, and I think it's the animation that doesn't suit RS. I am going to see if I can delete the animation bit to see if I can get it to appear in RS! A useful exercise for me to learn something new - as I really want this asset on my route! regards Ted.
