| [Report] It's not my route Mike; you'd need to ask the route author if he'd consider doing a 'cut down' version. The danger here though is that a version that suits what YOU have may still be an *expensive* version for others with different DLC to yourself, which would lead to a never ending procession of requests. Ultimately though, which assets are used is a decision only the route author can make---the fact that they then share their work with us mere mortals should be seen as an opportunity, not a problem.
You could use RW Tools to swap out the majority of assets that you don't have for ones that you do---the only *real* prerequisite is London-Brighton for the trackwork and associated infrastructure, |

| [Report] Can you please upload a version for people with less DLC because that's more than one hundred pounds worth |

| [Report] I have managed to work out how to install the add on myself. I am pretty new to this. This is basically an experiment for me with regards to filing systems, cut and pasting of files to appropriate slots in the system and using dedicated or otherwise file installation utilities executables. | [Report] Hi ander,
from a post I made in the forum a while ago:
"
"I've just run RW Tools over the route, and whilst there are a few differences between what I have and the 'default' version the payware assets used by the route come from:
JustTrains\Bristol_Avonmouth ---------------------------------------------------------about half a dozen buildngs, hardly an essential route to have in order to get London-Birmingham running.
JustTrains\Bristol_Exeter ---------------------------------------------------------------about 50 buildings and clutter objects.
JustTrains\ModernObjects --------------------------------------------------------------4 items, worthwhile as 3 are trackside ones.
JustTrains\NL -----------------------------------------------------------------------------a couple of dozen scenic items.
keithmross\WCMLNorth -----------------------------------------------------------------lots, particularly gantry items.
RSC\BrightonMainLine -------------------------------------------------------------------the track, lots of buildings.
RSC\FalmouthBranch --------------------------------------------------------------------bridges and buildings.
RSC\GuildfordDistrict --------------------------------------------------------------------a fair amount of scenic assets.
RSC\KentHighSpeed ----------------------------------------------------------------------gantries and buildings.
RSC\NorthEastCorridor ------------------------------------------------------------------scenery.
RSC\SettleCarlisle -----------------------------------------------------------------------buildings, platforms, scenery.
RSC\UKLEDsignals01 ---------------------------------------------------------------------I think you can guess ........
RSC\Woodhead ---------------------------------------------------------------------------gantries and scenery.
RSDL\IslandLine --------------------------------------------------------------------------scenery, tunnel entrances.
Thomson\EandG --------------------------------------------------------------------------signals, scenery.
TotalizeMedia\GARL ---------------------------------------------------------------------signals, scenery.
so, from that the most important ones are:
Brighton Main Line
WCML North
UKLEDsignals01
EandG
GARL
Having those will get the route working, you may be missing buildings and the odd few gantries but other routes can always be added as and when funds allow." |

| [Report] Can you leave a list of requirements for the route, I would like to download it but am not prepared to spend hours download the route only to then find that I don't have a requirement. |

[Report] Note: The file has been updated since this comment was written I think the break in the DC lines dates back a while, I'll certainly have a look at it though. |

[Report] Note: The file has been updated since this comment was written I resolved the problem by reverting to using my back up files (thanks for suggesting the "bely and braces" approach by the way) and then reinstalling your patch.
One or more files must have been misbehaving because now I can access London Euston Platforms 1 to 5.
There is a break somewhere around the Stonebridge Park/Willesden Junction area on the DC lines that prevents London Transport or Midland DC stock from running the stopping services between Watford Junction and Queens Park/Euston. I have tried finding exactly wherre it is without success - I don't know if you fancy having a go like? ;) |

[Report] Note: The file has been updated since this comment was written Thank you. The only issue I have now is being unable to drive from Watford Junction to Euston. Whatever routes I try, the message comes back to say the route is blocked - haven't worked out why yet!

[Report] Note: The file has been updated since this comment was written Brilliant - thanks so much. This really helps the route fulfil its true potential. Just having problems with the complicated triple turnout on the Euston side of the first 1/4 mile post - always seems to be against me when departing from p4. |
