| [Report] I found I could not get to Exeter from the north due to 2 sections of track directionality were opposing each other. The cure here was to go into Edit and make those section "Bi-Directional". Then my scenario got me into Exeter. Yet to try the run all the way to Plymouth. |

| [Report] I have to completely disagree with the comment that DTG's route is superior. It may be a great route to "play" but as a "simulator" the route length is far too short. In real life, train crews joined at Bristol, Taunton or Exeter and worked the train through to Plymouth, Paignton or Kingswear.
Exeter men may well have worked the odd local train to Kingswear, or the once daily all stations to Plymouth but would often go all the way down to Penzance.
For me, what the "South Devon Banks" lacks it more than makes up for by railway working realism - and controlling the runaway speed at Dainton / Stoneycombe Quarry or toiling up Hemerdon Bank is a challenge.
Unfortunately, I must be missing some trackwork because this version has chunks of track missing at Kingswear and along the SDR. Maybe it will sort itself out if I do the "Verify Cache Integrity thing". |
